Ingredients
Preparation
Eggs and milk are whisked in a bowl; in another bowl, flour and baking powder are mixed. The oil is poured generously into a pot and heated strongly. Enough oil should be used so that the onion rings can float.
Now the finely cut onion rings are first dipped into the egg mixture and then into the flour.
Then bake the onion rings in the very hot oil for approx. 3 minutes until golden yellow and place them on a paper towel to drain using a slotted spoon. Finally, sprinkle with salt – done.
Tips & Notes
The kick for the crispy onion rings comes from the final dip in flour!
