Christmas cookies: Recipe for coconut mountains

Ingredients

• 60 g flour
• 1 packet vanilla sugar
• 2 eggs
• 100 g honey
• 50 g sugar
• 200 g shredded coconut
• 150 g powdered sugar
• a little milk

Preparation

1. Beat the eggs until frothy and then mix thoroughly with the flour and vanilla sugar.

2. Then add the sugar and honey, and finally fold in the shredded coconut evenly.

3. Place small mounds of the coconut mixture on the wafer rounds and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top and bottom heat) for about 12–15 minutes.

4. Mix the powdered sugar with a little milk until creamy and place a dollop on each cooled coconut mound.
